Writing by Brick Marketing in Social Media

Social media has become a huge part of internet marketing. Any marketing guru will tell you that you need to get involved in social media. They’ll tell you everything that you need to do in order to succeed- but what about the things that you shouldn’t do? Here’s a list to get you started:

1.) Don’t Avoid It
There’s really no longer any excuse to not be involved in social media. No matter what industry you are in or who your target audience is, there is a place for you in social media. Millions of people use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+. There’s a 100% chance that at least some of those millions are interested in the products or services that you provide.

Everything that might interest your targets, such as pictures of the office, live tweets during an event, videos, articles and live streaming. It’s not the same as advertisements, people don’t get annoyed by your interesting/ valuable content about the brand.

by David Dixon, UMC Area Director

Are there business benefits to being a good community citizen? YES. By supporting other local businesses, alliances are formed that create flexibility and camaraderie for planning events, utilizing services, and purchasing products.

STORE’s weekly greenmarket has proven this. Florida summers leave residents lacking any sort of outdoor market for several months. By choosing to address the need of its community, STORE has helped support local vendors during our lean summer months, made new friends and alliances, and raised the profile of our unique facility.

For the last three years, once a month STORE hosts a morning business networking event, Networking in the Gardens. Countless partnerships, business opportunities, and friendships have resulted from an hour and half one morning a month. Numerous restaurants in PGA Commons, like Prosecco Café and Spoto’s Oyster Bar, now cater (and often donate) to our events, realtors and apartment managers can assist their clients in finding safer storage options, and STORE even found its new website designer, Blue Wave Design, from it! For local businesses, word of mouth is really what it’s all about.

If you are a local supplier or business owner, we want to hear from you. STORE Self Storage is locally owned, locally operated, and right in your neighborhood. Stop by for a personal tour of our award-winning facility or contact our staff about joining our local group. We’d love to have you.
